Abstract
Light, porous, and highly absorbent organic materials have emerged as new renewable and sustainable development materials for electromagnetic wave absorber materials. This study aimed to synthesize electromagnetic wave absorber materials from bamboo activated carbon (BAC), clitoria ternatea powder (CTP), and a combination of them. The powder materials of three materials were put into a mold/holder, and compacted under a conventional compaction method. The results showed that the CTP material produced optimal electromagnetic wave absorption with the smallest return loss value of −17.32 dB. It can be a beneficial reference for the development of electromagnetic wave absorber research in the future.
