N2 - Consuming adequate daily meal portions is crucial to maintain appropriate nutrition and keep healthy. Such optimal consumption varies depending on an individuals gender, age, physical condition, and activity. However, it might be difficult for everyone to know their daily sufficient meal portions when consuming food. For this reason, it is useful to have something that can inform nutritional needs and suggest appropriate meals accordingly. This study develops an app, namely SobatGizi, to help users identify their nutritional necessities. This SobatGizi also includes meal recommendations based on the identified nutritional needs. To do that, the SobatGizi utilizes information on height, weight, age, gender, and activity to calculate Body Mass Index (BMI) and estimate nutritional requirements. Meanwhile, Weighted Sum Model (WSM) is employed by the SobatGizi to provide meal recommendations. At first, users are requested to input their height, weight, age, gender, and activity. Then, their calculated BMI and estimated nutritional needs are displayed on SobatGizi. Note that SobatGizi allows its users to customize the level of their nutrition preferences before displaying the recommended meal menus. This option is to accommodate users' special conditions such as diet, pregnancy, or fatigue. In the end, the top five meal menus with the highest WSM scores are suggested to SobatGizis users.
