abstract = "An initial investigation of buried caves in Alas Kasinan has been conducted to observe the potential of Alas Kasinan as a local heritage and eco-edutourism based on Georadar. The method utilizes electromagnetic waves that are injected into the ground and its reflections are recorded to show the shallow subsurface conditions. The resulted image will inform the subsurface conductivity distribution. In this study, we identified the presence of high conductivity area that was bounded by cave walls which consist of mineral-rich igneous rock and the other one consists of low conductivity area. This interesting area that has been identified as buried caves will be used as the initial location to develop a local heritage and eco-edutourism area. In the future, we would like to intensively observe in developing the area as our pilot project for eco-edutourism in exploring and monitoring an environment, especially a volcano-hosted geothermal region.",
