Abstract
The environment has an important role in determining the degree of public health. To prepare graduates of medical faculty to be able to contribute to the improvement of public health and environmental quality, students need to be provided with an understanding of the basic concepts of entrepreneurship skills. One form of entrepreneurship is ecopreneurship, where society, environment, and economy get the same attention. This study aimed to describe students' perceptions of ecopreneurship according to the Health Belief Model. A survey through Google Forms, was completed by 194 3rd semester students after the final examination was done. Data were analysed descriptively. The survey results show that according to students, ecopreneurship is needed for the sustainability of nature (81%), environmental damage and health are caused by business (52%), ecopreneurship is considered to be profitable and to become the trend of future business (60%), the obstacles of ecopreneurship are considered not a problem (98%) and can be overcome (68%), and as 53% of students already have cues to action. It can be concluded that medical students' perception is better than their action. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning method that enables the practical aspect to be improved.
