Abstract

Wettability is a critical factor in diverse fields such as oil recovery, microfluidics, and nanotechnology. The behavior of liquid droplets on solid surfaces, influenced by surface properties, has been extensively investigated. Understanding these interactions is essential for controlling droplet dispersion. This study investigates the impact of temperature on the interaction between water nanodroplets and graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The results demonstrate that the potential energy, pressure, and enthalpy increase with the addition of 1-3 water nanodroplets to the GNR system at varying temperatures. Furthermore, the simulations confirm the hydrophilic nature of GNRs.
