Abstract

The puspose of this research to analyzed the legal implications on the implementation of the ISM and ISPS Code in Indonesia, this research is normative legal research using the statute approach. The result of this research show that the juridical implication of Indonesia’s recognition of the two codes is the implementation or application of the provisions of the ISM and ISPS Code both by shipping stakeholders, especially shipowners and operators as well as from the government in this case regarding port and port issues state control. the application of ISM and ISPS Code, the implementation of sea transportation, especially transportation of goods by sea, can be carried out properly.
