Abstract

This paper focus on identify the potency of rural area using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Some alternative of development strategies are discuss followed by the sensitivity of internal and external factors. In addition to PRA, data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, FGDs, and interpretation for 3 months. The results show that the selected villages have the potential to develop added value, but with the current conditions, stronger horizontal integration is still needed, assisted by external publications from the local government.
