Abstract

The research is the preliminary study of the ability ofCeraalba (CA) extract inhibitors. The adsorption and corrosion inhibition characteristic of CA extract on API 5L X65 steel was investigated by weight loss and potentiodynamic polarization methods. The results showed that the inhibition efficiency increases with increasing inhibitor concentration. The weight loss and potentiodynamic polarization methods revealed that CA extract act as mixed type inhibitor.
