abstract = "Static test is an important test to perform during a rocket operation testing. As the name indicates, it is performed under a static condition. The main information to obtain from this type of test is the rocket thrust force. This paper describes a method to measure the thrust force based on the utilization of a load cell sensor. Unlike the previous analog measurement methods, this paper proposes the use of digital measurement method. The measurement results are to be displayed in a form of graphics and tables in a real-time way, so that the distance traveled by rocket as well as its speed can be estimated. An estimation method based on the optimum thrust force approach has been explored. The measurement data can either be stored in a database system using Microsoft Access or in a microSD card to facilitate the flexibility in transferring data to other equipments.",
