Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a decision support system to help hospitals decide which COVID-19 patients should be prioritized to get Emergency Room (ER) treatment. Because with the lack of facility in hospitals especially in emergency room (ER), a lot of COVID-19 patients were not able to be treated in ER. The decision support system used analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) methods, while the method used to develop the system is the waterfall method. The system was designed with system development tools such as context diagram, data flow diagram, entity relationship diagram, and use case diagram. Then the desktop-based system was developed using Ms. Access and hopes that it could be helpful to hospitals in deciding which COVID-19 patients to be prioritized to get ER treatment.
