Abstract
This study aimed to identify the influence of environmental trust, uncertainty, and herd behavior on predicting consumer behavior intentions. This study also aimed to assess the most appropriate model to describe the relationship between the four variables. The data type was the result of 105 studies that examined the relationship between environmental trust, uncertainty, herd behavior, and consumer behavioral intent. The data source came from the Scopus.com database. PRISMA was used in the selection process using inclusion criteria such as research is carried out according to the theme in the form of journal articles, proceedings, and book chapters published between 2000 – 2024, in the form of quantitative research that provides information on the number of respondents and correlation values, in English and published in reputable international journals. The method used R software to conduct a Meta-Analysis Structural Equation Modeling (Meta-SEM). The results showed that Environmental Trust (ET) has a significant favorable influence on uncertainty (UC) at a rate of 5%. ET al has a more substantial positive influence on herd behavior (HB) and behavioral intention (BI). In addition, UC significantly influences BI, while HB also has a positive influence on BI. Additional findings from gender moderation imply that demographic factors might impact the formation of the association between these variables, particularly regarding herd behavior and environmental trust.
