Abstract
The coffee agro-industry plays an important role in economic development, particularly in developing countries. However, it is extremely vulnerable to sustainability issues across its supply chain. Therefore, effective sustainable supply chain risk management is critical for improving resilience and long-term performance. This study aims to identify sustainability-related risks, assess risk priority levels and develop appropriate mitigation strategies through a case study of a coffee agro-industry enterprise in Indonesia. This study integrates the Fuzzy House of Risk (FHOR) and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) within an extended sustainability framework encompassing economic, social, enviromental, technical, and institutional dimensions. The finding identified 22 sustainability related risk events and 25 risk agents in the coffee supply chain, based on the FHOR results, 7 major risk agents are prioritized for their significant impact on supply chain performance. The relative relevance of mitigation strategies then assessed using FAHP, resulting in the identification of 11 priority mitigation strategies for implementation. This study contributes to the SSCRM literature by advancing an integrated fuzzy-based framework beyond the traditional Triple Bottom Line (TBL), while providing practical guidance for prioritizing sustainability-oriented risk mitigation in coffee supply chains.
